Google Stinks! Or is That Publicity I Smell

I suppose nowadays most people use Google as their search engine. I do too.Do you sometimes have doubts about using Google? Well many times I do as well.
Earlier today I was searching for some images on on Google.This time the ridiculous happened. I typed in the word "fox" in the search box and guess what happened. Google does not believe that the primary use for the word "fox" refers to the black and red furred mammal we all know. Google also seems to be confused about the word "bison" when it comes to web search. Apparently a couple of companies seems to be the first search results. If this does not look credible have a try for yourself.
Are the software or algorithms of the search engine really messed up? I cannot answer that because I am not an expert in that field. Is Google trying to gain some revenue by promoting certain companies? I cannot answer that as I do not work for Google. I shall let the public decide or inquire on that. The truth is that recently Google has been expanding at such a fast rate that it has lost it's traditional image of the independent Goliath of the IT world that we all loved.
Over the years Google taken the path of large corporations such as Microsoft or Apple. Can Google still be trusted with our web search? I believe the answer for that is a matter of debate. However I believe that if you put aside the few "inconsistencies" Google is still the best thing you can find out there.
